Kate studied fine art at college and university, creativity comes naturally to her! After completing the Diploma Course in Garden Design with the Pickard School, Kate carried out an apprenticeship in Horticulture and Design with the Homebase Garden Academy.
After the Academy, Kate worked full time for Adam Frost working on a range of projects from private clients’ gardens to international show gardens and charity schemes.
Kate was awarded a Gold medal for her first ever show garden at RHS’s annual competition; Young Designer of the Year. In 2017; alongside her friend, created one of ‘The Feel Good’ gardens on behalf of Radio2 at RHS Chelsea and achieved a Gold & Best in Show at Gardeners World Live.
Kate brings to her lectures a passion for design coupled with a real talent to bring designs to life through creative use of CAD, hand-drawn illustrations and photoshop.
